ECON 203
INTRODUCTION TO MACROECONOMICS

INTRODUCTION

Economics 203 is the beginning course in the principles of macroeconomics. At the University of Mississippi and at most other universities and colleges, introductory economics is divided into two course, each of which consists of three semester hours of credit. Economics 202 treats primarily microeconomic concepts (the price system and resource allocation) and is a prerequisite to Economics 203. Economics 203 is the second course and deals with broad economic aggregates such as whole economies rather than individual firms or industries.

This course offers three (3) hours of academic credit.

MID-COURSE TEST AND FINAL EXAMINATION

The student will take a Mid-Course Test and Final Examination at a physical location in a college or university setting. Detailed instructions and Mid-Course Test and Final Examination applications are included in the online syllabus.

INSTRUCTOR
