PRINCIPLES OF INVESTIGATION
INTRODUCTION
Criminal investigation is a field of study that can help people in all walks of life learn how to obtain information. While the course is primarily oriented toward public police officers or private detectives, the student will be exposed to many forms of information. The capable student will learn how to conduct a police or personal interview designed to elicit the maximum amount of information from an individual. The purpose of the course is to inform the student of the maximum potentials in the police science field.
This course offers three (3) hours of academic credit.
MID-COURSE TEST AND FINAL EXAMINATION
The student will take a Mid-Course Test and Final Examination at a physical
location in a college or university setting. Detailed instructions and
Mid-Course Test and Final Examination applications are included in the
online syllabus. Information regarding tests and procedures can be found in General Information.
INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Chester Quarles is a Professor of Criminal Justice in the Department of
Applied Sciences, Legal Studies Program.
