MKTG 351. MARKETING PRINCIPLES

    Basic principles and pratices of marketing -- This introductory course provides an understanding of: the scope of marketing and its environment, social responsibility and ethics in marketing, the elements of the marketing mix -- product, price, promotion, and distribution, how consumers make decisions, and how to research and identify target markets. Prerequisite: Junior Standing. (3) 20 lessons. Also offered as a CYBER course.

MKTG 353. INTRODUCTION TO ADVERTISING

    Provides the basic understanding of the principles and practices of the advertising industry. Topics include: understanding advertising's role in society; learning the structure of the advertising agency and career paths; and studying how advertising is planned, created, and implemented. Prerequisite: "C" minimum required in MKTG 351. (3) 18 lessons. Also offered as a CYBER course. Note: No enrollments currently accepted.

MKTG 354. PROFESSIONAL SELLING AND RELATIONSHIP MARKETING

    Presents personal selling as a professional marketing activity. Coverage includes effective selling methods and application of selling theories to the modern marketing concept. Prerequisite: "C" minimum required in MKTG 351. (3) 16 Lessons. Also offered as a CYBER course. Note: No enrollments currently accepted.
