ACCOUNTANCY 301
ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNTING
INTRODUCTION
Accountancy 301 is an introduction to managerial accounting for business students and others who have satisfactorily completed courses in introductory accounting. The objective of the course is to teach the student how to use accounting information and tools in planning and controlling business operations. An understanding of the usefulness--and the limitations--of accounting is desirable for all students planning careers in business, and a knowledge of accounting is essential for those who are dependent upon accounting information and measures of performance as a basis for making decisions.
This course offers three (3) hours of academic credit.
MID-COURSE TEST AND FINAL EXAMINATION
The student will take a Mid-Course Test and Final Examination at a physical
