UM/ School District Bank Hours
The UM School of Education offers "bank-hour" credit to those school districts that assist with internship/student teaching programs. School districts receiving credit may use it to offset the cost of UM tuition for their employees. The formula for bank hours is determined each year by the University based upon the number of reported student placements. Please contact your individual district office to see if bank-hour funding is available.
Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program
The UM Graduate School administers a waiver/scholarship program available to persons who are members of minority groups that have historically been underrepresented in various graduate education programs. Students who are eligible for this program will receive a 75 percent tuition scholarship. Please contact your admissions or academic counselor for information on securing this funding.
