The faculty and staff of The University of Mississippi-Grenada honored its very first group of graduates on May 4 at the Holmes Community College Corey Auditorium. Graduates in the Master’s of Curriculum and Instruction- Elementary Education program and their families were treated to a BBQ dinner. UM-Grenada graduating student, Pam Burns of Winona, addressed her fellow graduates and shared stories and fond memories of completing the program with her fellow cohort members.
The graduating students' degrees were conferred during the official commencement ceremonies held at the UM main campus in Oxford the following Saturday, May 9.
