Course Offerings
University of Mississippi courses are taught in English, except for language courses. Courses labeled with a number ranging from 100 to 400 are for undergraduate credit. Courses with a 500 or 600 designation are for graduate students.
Normally, classes meet 1 to 3 days per week, and students earn 3 hours of credit for each successfully completed class. Classes that meet on Tuesday and Thursday meet for 1 hour and 15 minutes each of those days. Classes offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday meet for 50 minutes each day. Students must enroll in 12 hours of coursework to be considered full-time.
