University Camps and Conferences (UCC) won’t give you a typical conference experience. Our staff will deliver the excellence you expect from Ole Miss. Their years of experience and the unique UM venues and resources allow you to create something special and make the UCC the logical choice for your event in Oxford.
Our staff is detail-oriented. They’re good listeners. That’s key in understanding the needs of your group, following up on all inquiries, and making sure that no detail is overlooked prior to or during your time at the UCC.
The UM conference staff has been coordinating events for over 50 years. This experience allows them to anticipate your needs and to ask the right questions to assure the complete success of your event. The Conference Coordinators coordinate a team of professionals—marketing associates, technology specialists, caterers, and transportation providers—that guarantee a productive and smoothly executed event.
Your designated coordinator will also be on-site from the beginning to the end of your event. He or she will help you with the many on-site details that ensure the best possible conference experience for each participant, like assisting speakers; making certain that hotel rooms, meeting rooms, meal functions, and refreshment breaks are prepared as ordered; and responding immediately to any unforeseen needs that arise.
The Events Office is the best "first stop" for anyone seeking the services of University Camps and Conferences. The staff can answer questions, explain UCC services, check on space availability for meetings and conferences, and make all space reservations.
