BACCHUS & GAMMA Peer Education Network
2004 Area 8 Spring Conference
February 6-7, 2004
December 4, 2003
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network, I would like
to invite you and your students to participate in the 2004 Area 8 Conference,
February 6-7 at The University of Mississippi, in Oxford, MS.
As many of you know, the BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network is
divided into 12 areas throughout the United States. We are in Area 8,
which is comprised of schools from Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
By attending the Area 8 Spring Conference, you will have an opportunity
to meet with other students and advisors to share your ideas and experiences.
This is also a great time to give your students, your advisors, your affiliate
group, and your programs the credit that they deserve, by nominating them
for and award! This is also a wonderful time to share your knowledge,
expertise, and successes with others, by presenting an educational program
at the conference. The forms necessary for nominations and program proposals
are enclosed. Also included is a copy of the tentative schedule, a hotel
accomodation request, and a general registration form. For convenience,
online registration is available here on our website, www.olemiss.outreach.edu/events/bacchus_gamma_2004/forms/reg_form.html.
The Spring Conference is designed to be educational, inspirational, and
fun, while also being a reminder of how important our missions are and
what a powerful impact we can have on education and prevention efforts.
We welcome individuals and groups affiliated with the BACCHUS and GAMMA
Peer Education Network, as well as those individuals and groups who are
thinking of starting peer education groups. It should be a wonderful experience
for everyone, and I look forward to seeing all of you at Ole Miss!
Sincerely,
Kimberly S. Kraft, M.S.
