Women in Higher Education - Mississippi Network (WHEMN)

Spring Leadership Conference
March 1-2, 2005

General Information

The mission of Women in Higher Education—Mississippi Network (WHEMN) is to identify, develop, advance, and support women in higher education in Mississippi.  To this end, WHEMN is dedicated to promoting and supporting women’s leadership in higher education, facilitating networking of women in higher education, assisting in career development and mentoring of women in higher education, and enhancing the visibility of women administrators on Mississippi’s campuses.  We invite you to the 2005 WHEMN Spring Leadership Conference at Mississippi College for an experience that will surely inspire and motivate you while presenting practical information and an excellent opportunity to network with those who share your profession.

Registration fee of $50 includes the conference, dinner Tuesday evening and lunch on Wednesday.

  • From Highway 49 North - When traveling south toward Jackson, turn right on Pinehaven Road. Follow Pinehaven Road approximately 5 miles into the city limits of Clinton. At the traffic light at Northside Drive, the name of the street changes to Clinton Parkway. Continue straight through the intersection. Turn right onto College Street.
  • From Highway 49 South - Take I-20 westbound through Jackson to Clinton. Take the Springridge Road exit in Clinton. Turn right onto Springridge Road, and proceed north across Highway 80 (Springridge Road is now Clinton Parkway). Turn left onto College Street.
  • From I-55 Southbound - Take I-220 to I-20 westbound. Take Springridge Road exit in Clinton. Turn right onto Springridge Road and proceed north across Highway 80 (Springridge Road is now Clinton Parkway). Turn left onto College Street.
  • From I-55 Northbound - Take I-20 west to Springridge Road exit in Clinton. Turn right onto Springridge Road and proceed north across highway 80 (Springridge Road is now Clinton Parkway). Turn left onto College Street.
  • From I-20 Westbound - Take Springridge Road exit in Clinton. Turn right onto Springridge Road and proceed north across Highway 80 (Springridge Road is now Clinton Parkway). Turn left onto College Street.
  • From I-20 Eastbound - Take Springridge Road exit in Clinton. Turn left onto Springridge Road and cross over I-20 and go through the intersection of Springridge Road and Highway 80 (Springridge Road is now Clinton Parkway). Turn left onto College Street.
