Transfer Student Open House

Transfer Students Open House is for community college sophomores or individuals who have completed their freshman/sophomore-level coursework.

This program is for prospective students who are interested in completing their bachelor's degrees at The University of Mississippi in Southaven.

Designed to give transfer students a chance to learn what UM-DeSoto is really like directly from faculty and currently enrolled students. The program normally includes a facility tour, admissions information session, financial aid session, and an opportunity to discuss program requirements with University of Mississippi advisors in accounting, business, criminal justice, elementary and secondary education, health programs, liberal arts, paralegal studies, and social work.

Check-in for Transfer Students Open House usually begins at 4:30 p.m. in the lobby of the DeSoto Center. Visiting students receive a name tag and agenda for the day at check-in.

Transfer Students Open House is generally held during April.
