- Ryan Speights, a freshman Honors College, Philosophy/pre-med major attended the tournament in Informative Speaking, Persuasive Speaking and Impromptu Speaking. His persuasion on anti-nuclear war was non-traditional and risky
competitively. He made quite an impression with a
thought-provoking and intelligent performance. - Roun McNeal, a senior Political Science major and our immediate past ASB President presented an equally non-traditional and risky speech on Gene Patenting. Again, many people heard an impressive performance about a little talked about issue.
