Fun Activities – New Friends – Life-Saving Skills
Safe Sitter is a national recognized program for 11-14 year olds where participants will learn life-saving skills so they can be safe if home alone or watching younger children. Participants will play fun games and do some role-playing exercises–even get to learn fundamental CPR and first aid practices to help rescue someone who is choking. At the end of the class, participants will be prepared to handle whatever situation comes up. Parents are required to attend the last hour of class to participate in the recap and graduation ceremony. Participants are required to bring a lunch. Beverages and water will be provided.
