No one wants to be afraid. Being prepared means we fear less because we’re ready for whatever may come. This includes situations when self-defense is needed. This course provides both an intellectual and physical component with an emphasis on risk awareness, risk avoidance, risk reduction and risk response. Participants learn observation skills to recognize early warning signs of danger, ways to use their voice and body language to prevent harm, simple and effective physical skills to disable an attacker long enough to escape, and more.
