Morning
Travel by air to New York City. Individual transportation to Club Quarters Hotel in Manhattan’s Financial District.

Afternoon
Highlights tour at Metropolitan Museum of Art. Free time to visit the Museum’s permanent collection which includes European painting, modern art, decorative arts, arms and armor, and Egyptian antiquities.

Sunday, January 7

Morning
Visit International Center for Photography for viewing of the Ectopia exhibition.

Afternoon
Tour the New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown Manhattan.

Monday, January 8

Morning
An exclusive private tour of the newly
renovated Museum of Modern Art.

Afternoon
Architecture tour of Manhattan via coach led by architectural historian Francis Morrone. See the sites on the Upper West Side, Harlem, Museum Mile, and the Financial District.

 

Tuesday, January 9

Morning
Brooklyn Bridge walk to enjoy the Manhattan skyline and the grandeur of the bridge
architecture.

Afternoon
Lunch at the Frank Lloyd Wright Café and guided tour at the Guggenheim Museum. Visit the Neue Galerie to explore the furniture and decorative arts of the Josef Hoffman exhibition.

Wednesday, January 10

Morning
Self-guided tour of the Whitney Museum of
American Art followed by a tour of Sotheby’s
auction house with Warren Winegar.

Afternoon
Free afternoon to visit museums of special
interest, shop along Fifth Avenue, or attend a Broadway matinee.

Thursday, January 11

Morning
Free morning

Afternoon
Individual departures to airport for return flights.
