The Academic Traveler presents Miami: A Culinary Adventure, an educational travel program dedicated to the cuisine of Miami. South Florida has a rich history of culinary traditions – a fusion of Latin American, Asian and French cuisines with a taste of the Tropics and the American South. Through tastings, cooking classes and fine dining, participants will enjoy the best locally caught seafood, fresh tropical produce and unique spices combined to create the unique flair of South Florida cuisine.

The program fee is $1695 per person (double occupancy). This fee includes round-trip airfare from Memphis, lodging, tour fees, cooking classes, farewell dinner, and pre-trip educational material.  Accommodations are at the Clinton Hotel located in the heart of South Beach.

The registration deadlie is Wednesday, December 5th, but enrollment is limited, so register early to secure a space. Payroll deduction is available for University of Mississippi faculty and staff.

The tour director for Miami: A Culinary Adventure is Cory Lewis, chef and adjunct assistant professor of art at the University of Mississippi.
