Instructor

J. Christopher Byrd is currently a Human Resources Manager with 17 years of experience developing,implementing, and managing human resource policies, procedures and programs for multi-site operations. He has a proven track record as a HR leader, enthusiastic coach and innovative problem solver with keen attention to detail. He is an excellent communicator who effectively uses written and oral communications to inform, persuade, and motivate. He brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience especially in recruitment and staffing, employment law, project management and employee relations.

Chris currently serves as the Senior Human Resources Manager at BorgWarner located in Water Valley, Mississippi. He has held this position since 2014. Before joining BorgWarner, Mr. Byrd served for over 15 years in many different capacities at the Viking Range Corporation located in Greenwood, Mississippi.
