MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Cake Decorating

Anita Cook is has been decorating cakes for 26 years. Cook was trained in cake and candy decorating at Calico Cake Shop in Los Angeles.

Dance

David Cox is owner of DanceQuest in Tupelo.  He is considered one of the foremost dance instructors in Northeast Mississippi. 

Oil Painting

Chandra Williams is an educator at University Museums with a BFA in printmaking from Washington University in St. Louis. Williams has taught a range of art classes including therapeutic art for children and kudzu basket weaving.

eBay Selling

Olen Batchelor lives in Memphis and works as a full-time eBay trader and trainer.  Batchelor was certified in 2003 by eBay University.

Floral Design

Judy Conner is the proprietor of University Florist.

Get Organized

Maryanne McDonald is a syndicated home and leisure columnist and owner of Organize by Design consulting firm.  She has been teaching classes on organization and time management since 1989.

Getting Off on the Right Paw

Sara Graves raises Havanese at Weatherstone in Batesville, MS. She has completed veterinary assistant training and worked with animals throughout her life.  Sara is excited about her next litter which is expected in early March.

Kai Duker and one of Sara's Havanese pups—Cricket—recently graduated magna cum laude from Pet Smart's certified obedience class. Kai and her family and pups live in Little Rock, AR.

Languages

Kathy King is a native of Oxford, Mississippi, and earned degrees in Psychology, Social Work, and Spanish at the University of Mississippi. She has lived in Madrid, Spain, and enjoys doing mission work in Latin American countries. Currently, she is employed through Lafayette County Schools tutoring English as a second language to Hispanic students.
